Santa Mare (Bt) Cicloturism

The route starts at the intersection of DN 24C with DC52A in the locality of Bogdănești. The asphalted road takes us along the edge of the village of Bogdănești, after which we enter the village of Rânghilești. In the center of the village, we will see on the left a reservoir and on the right the church founded by Dimitie and Elena Sturdza (1842). From there, a climb begins that quickly takes us to the manor of the Goilav family (early XX century), which is in a state of degradation. We continue the ascent on a dirt road and will cross into the next valley. A pleasant descent follows, alongside a sheepfold, down to Iazul Iancului. From there we continue downstream (towards the east) to the village of Rânghilești-Deal. We will see on the right some ponds, after which we will cross the village of Rânghilești-Deal through its median area and will come out to DN 24C at the northern end, towards Ilișeni. We cross the bridge, from where we can observe the meanders of the Corogea stream and its tributaries, and make a short visit to the center of the village of Ilișeni, after which we return on the road to Bogdănești, the starting point.
