On a decent asphalt road (except at the beginning), with beautiful views and an acceptable amount of cars. The profiles of all routes from Chrudim, Chrast, and Luže southwards are similar (for example, through the Iron Mountains directly to the Žďárské vrchy, then it’s already up and down). The steepest direct route north-south is from Slatiňany via local roads (poorer asphalt) straight to Hlinsko and a few kilometers beyond. If you're looking for an alternative to long climbs in the Chrudim area, I recommend it.
