About this route
The tour starts in Škofja Loka and follows the Poljanska Sora river to Gorenja Vas. Here, at the roundabout, head towards Polhov Gradec. In Hrastenice, follow the road towards Topol pri Medvodah and reach Sora before returning to Škofja Loka. The route is hardly trafficked from Gorenja Vas onwards. The only difficulty is the climb to Katarina. The road before Briše pri Polhovem Gradcu was unpaved for about 1.5 km in 2012 but was still good for road bikes due to a very smooth gravel surface.
