Zahara de la Sierra,puerto de Las Palomas,Grazalema,Villaluenga,Benaocaz,Ubrique,El Bosque,Prado del Rey

We are in Prado del Rey, in the province of Cádiz, located on the route of the white villages of the Sierra de Cádiz. We are staying at the rural complex La Huerta Dorotea. From there, we head towards Zahara de la Sierra. We start climbing this beautiful mountain pass while observing the Los Urones reservoir on our left. We reach the summit and descend to Grazalema. From there, we continue towards Villaluenga, then Benaocaz, Ubrique, El Bosque, and back to Prado del Rey. The route is rugged, with plenty of climbs and descents. The scenery is beautiful, passing through pine forests, Mediterranean woodland, and the famous pinzapal. Numerous birds can be seen, including vultures located just above at the Las Palomas pass, where there is a viewpoint to observe them. A moderate level of fitness is recommended to be able to conquer the climb without issues.
