Extremely tough ride organized by the Granabike club. I am posting their route description because it is unbeatable:

"Neutral start as we ascend via Carlos Carreras and Trinidad Carreras streets, to the right of the Monachil river course, accompanied by the murmur of the water. We cross the river on the town's last bridge, beginning the day's first slopes to start gaining elevation meters ahead of us.

The first asphalt ramps are tough and since we are cold, we must take them calmly. Leaving Monachil, nestled by its river, we set sights on entering the Barranco del Pollino. With the imposing slope of Cerro Huenes before us, among farmhouses, we continue the climb, reaching Cortijo de la Umbría where the ramps give us a short breather and place us at the edge of the Natural Park, with a beautiful panoramic view of this hillside we are climbing and the wall formed by Los Llanos ahead.

We cross the Barranco de la Corneta maintaining an altitude of 1100 meters. After leaving a left diversion, the climb gives us slight relief in the form of a descent, to link up with the track rising from Cortijo de la Perrera. Again climbing over almond fields, we gain altitude to Cortijo del Barranco del Lobo, a privileged point to observe the bend formed by the Arroyo del Huenes and the track ahead.

From the viewpoint, a trail descends diagonally down the hillside depositing us on the dry ravine of Barranco del Lobo. Linking the track by the farmhouse to the left and descending gently, taking a left turn that leads us to cross the Arroyo del Huenes.

After crossing the watercourse, it's time to gear up again. A succession of curves and switchbacks leads us to climb along the hillside beside Cortijillo, passing through fields and farmhouses, regaining previously lost height. Ahead are a couple of tough ramps, which calmly lead us to the upper part of the Los Llanos track, which we take left to reach the Hervidero.

The Hervidero will be the privileged point where we will refill water and replenish strength before continuing. From this point we will reach La Zubia, so we bundle up before letting ourselves roll down the main track to Cumbres Verdes.

At the urbanization junction, we take a left. To our right opens a beautiful panorama of Granada and its vega. Leaving the streets behind, we continue on track, immersed in a dense pine forest heading to the Collado del Tejarillo, continuing our descent on the main track and the Pinos de Pareja track, until the Eras Altas area, where a short descent fits us into the Barranco de Los Corvales, climbing beside the Club Alborde de La Zubia headquarters to the Cumbres Verdes road, which we cross to link up by the sports center with the Camino de Las Satajardas.

The track, recently repaired, is very wide and climbs mercilessly. After the descent, muscles need to recover, so we negotiate this section calmly. After passing Barranco de Satajardas, we take a left diversion leading to an undulating path over almond fields, linking the Los Leñeros track, climbing again.

We divert left on the track previously used, the slope is gentler, much appreciated, gaining within minutes the Colinas Bermejas recreational area, a privileged viewpoint over Monachil and much of the route covered.

It's time to descend towards Monachil and we do so by linking the trail section alongside the Acequia del Huenes and the Cortijo de los Macocos, the track, on a steep descent, takes us along the side of the Monachil neighborhood, descending through the Barranco de los Álamos to the road accessing the town.

Stretching our legs on the paved access, we will arrive after passing the Town Hall square and Church to the square by the river where the finish line and tent for participant meals will be set up."
