Dookoła Polski 9 dzień (Moszczanka-Golińsk)

Another international day. Pol-Cze-Pol-Cze-Pol – that sums it up.

After the morning ritual and a chat with Mr. Bodzio, I set off towards Zlaté Hory.

As usual, right at the start I take an extra loop looking for the entry to the Czech Republic. I ride through Konradów – thinking about my nephew.

The beginning is very sluggish, 'go or not go'.

The weather is very cyclist-friendly in the mountains, which are increasingly numerous on the other side of the border.

The town, as told by the 'Trout Farmer', is very nice and worth visiting.

Then a fantastic scenic stretch of road 457 towards Jawornik.

In that town, a beautiful castle standing on a rock.

A tough climb towards Lądek via Ścinawka, at the border a break for a beer, Czech non-alcoholic and a chat with cyclists from Poland. One of them is a national team wheelchair athlete.

A quick descent from the border, then an uninteresting and very busy road to Kłodzko. Good that it is mostly downhill.

Kłodzko is also quite busy, so I continue towards Tłumaczów.

When leaving the town, a lunch break at McDonald’s.

Homemade sandwiches are usually better, so only as dessert local ice cream and coffee.

Then Ścinawka (to the left a view of the previously unknown Table Mountains), Tłumaczów and again Czech Republic. Just beyond the border a lunch break.

A pleasant, flat route Otovice-Mezimestí.

On the way Broumov, where the very popular 'Opat' beer that I like is brewed.

I didn't taste it this time because earlier Primator was served with knedlíky.

Right after another border crossing, lodging near a wild little lake, or rather a muddy pond.

Another mishap, at the last lodging I left my soap behind. Since I only realized it in the evening, my evening bath was quite curious.

In murky water with the help of dishwashing liquid ;)

In the morning it turned out I had pitched my tent on an anthill. The night with the ants was peaceful; only when packing up did they bite me a little goodbye.
