After the morning wash and farewells, I set off again, loaded with laundry, towards Augustów. The weather (the most important in my reports 😊) is a dream.

The laundry dries quickly and I can put it away. I haven't lost anything for a long time ;)

In Krynica, part of my underwear disappeared. I'm ashamed to admit it, so I'm only doing it now.

Riding the road through the Augustów Forest is very pleasant, but unfortunately the number of cars increases.

A short break by the Czarna Hańcza river, and then in Augustów.

Then along a less busy road to Lipsk.

There another break at a very tidy campsite near Biebrza.

It's a pity I'm here so early as it's a great place to stay overnight.

A short chat with a retired man from Tczew who is travelling alone around Poland in a camper.

Then through Dąbrowa Białostocka to Sokółka.

I begin to slowly discover the charms of beautiful Eastern Poland.

As it turned out later, this was the most beautiful part of my trip.

It can safely be called "The Orthodox Churches Route".

Part of the route to Sokółka I ride together with Tomek, a teacher from Władysławowo.

He escaped by bike from his overcrowded city at this time of year.

In Sokółka we part ways, I stop for a Sunday lunch.

The Tatar cuisine dish tastes excellent, as almost everything on the road.

Heading towards Krynki, finally the villages I've been waiting for, small charming wooden houses.

I ride towards Kruszyniany and on the way the Kosmata hill. Once I climbed it with my bike and drank a beer, I didn’t feel like going down.

Another strange overnight place. A hill, because it's just a name, and at the top a tree – a signpost placed upside down. What is this Poczopek?

Let’s hope there is no storm, because if lightning strikes this "lightning rod" it could be unpleasant.

The view is wonderful, the background music is the sound of cranes. For dessert there was supposed to be another sunset, but clouds didn’t allow it.

Mosquitoes don’t let me forget they are there, no signal, sugar is running out – the end of Poland.

Tomorrow there is a chance to meet again with a larger peloton from Kraków.
