You pass four watermills and three windmills cycling this route. The villages of Geesteren, Vasse, Ootmarsum, and Fleringen give you a place to stop for an ice cream, lunch, a nice cup of coffee or a stroll through the charming shopping street. The landscape is delightful: in the northern part of Twente, the terrain is gently rolling. Springs, meadows, old oaks, and hedgerows alternate. It’s wonderful for cycling. Tip: start at one of the TOPs. Here you’ll find parking and quick access to a junction of the cycling route.
