The landscape on both sides of the Mura River offers visitors numerous experiences in all seasons. The snowy landscape provides an idyllic, fairy-tale image, while the first spring rays awaken it into a trembling land covered with flowers. The summer beauty of the brightly cultivated fields turns into an autumn full of rich natural treasures. Start the circular ride on both sides of the river through the Prekmurje villages with a stop on the other side, in Radenci.

Radenci is a well-known spa and holiday resort with one of Slovenia's richest and highest-quality peatland areas. It is famous for the popular and internationally renowned mineral water called Radenska. Continue the route on the Prlekija side through the villages.

The village of Hrastje got its name from the oaks, which reminds one of large forests with abundant acorn pasture for pigs, while Mota is a later settlement named after the customs post, a place where customs duties were paid when crossing the Mura, as the crossing was organized by ferry. The village boasts several older farmhouses and farm buildings from the 19th century, some of which have been nicely restored.
