Heuss-Tour

Brackenheim – Dürrenzimmern 9.0 km

• The tour starts in Brackenheim at the Theodor Heuss Museum. From there, proceed on 'Theodor Heuss-Straße' heading out of town.

• After about 150 m, turn right onto the bike/pedestrian path along L1103 towards Güglingen. After approximately 700 m downhill, take the farm road to the right, cross the main road, and follow the valley along the stream to Stockheim.

• At the district road, turn right and then left at the next road into the village. At the bending priority junction, continue straight uphill.

• At the foot of the vineyard, turn right, then follow the farm road along the district road to Haberschlacht.

• At the T-junction in the village, turn left, then right into 'Nordstraße', continue on 'Dachsbergstraße', and at the glass containers make a sharp left, then right uphill, through the vineyard and parallel to the main street along the vineyard.

• At the first opportunity, cross the main street and follow the farm road into the valley. In the valley go straight to the hut, right around the corner, and follow the wine education trail through the vineyard.

• At the fork, left briefly uphill to the saddle, then right, past the hiking parking lot, and half-left downhill to Neipperg. At the sports facility turn right, then the next left downhill to the main road.

• On this road, turn right and at the town exit turn left into 'Seebergweg'. Follow this along the valley, at the foot of the vineyard to Dürrenzimmern.

Dürrenzimmern – Brackenheim 13.0 km

• At the sports field on the main street turn right, next left, and immediately right into 'Böckinger Straße'. At the T-junction turn right, cross the stream, then left onto the gravel path and at its end, left.

• Now follow the paved farm road along the stream, at the foot of the vineyard into Hausen.

• On 'Zimmererstraße' to the town center. Through 'Schulgasse' and 'Brückenstraße' to 'Neckarstraße' and then right into 'Bönnigheimer Weg'.

• At the T-junction turn left onto the farm road and gently uphill straight ahead. At the T-junction by the farm, turn right and straight on to Meimsheim.

• On the district road, turn left into the village. Follow the main street downhill to the left and at the 'Stopp-Stelle' turn right.

• Follow the road around the left curve, cross the stream, and go through the underpass. After the underpass, turn right and follow along the railway tracks.

• In the industrial area, go straight onto the farm road, along the nature reserve, and straight into Botenheim.

• Turn left into 'Biegelstraße', at the end right, and at the church right, on the main street towards Brackenheim through the town.

• At the town exit, a bike path begins on the right. Follow it straight along L1107 back to Brackenheim and to the starting point of the tour.
