The time trial is another race in the SPAC 2012 series

Finish - at the Kohurka Restaurant in Vyšní Lhoty

Distance - 17 km

Route description - after the start, about 200 m in, riders turn right onto the ring road around the Hyundai factory. From this circuit, after about 5 km, they turn right onto the overpass over the highway. After crossing it, the route joins the district road Frýdek-Místek-Český Těšín and turns right. This is followed by a roughly 700 m long straight and then a descent into Vojkovice. In this village, the route turns sharply right onto the road towards Dobratice. On this road, the route rises slightly for about 1.5 km past the U Koníčka restaurant up to the underpass under the highway and railway where riders face about a 3.5 km climb through the village Dobratice, interrupted by a steep ramp at the end of the village and another steep ascent to the summit near the Harenda restaurant. Then follows just less than a kilometer on flat terrain to the former school in Višňovka, where the route changes to a descent into Vyšní Lhoty, interrupted by a short "bump" near the water treatment plant. At the end of the descent, at about 14.5 km, the route turns at the bend in Vyšní Lhoty and riders must complete the return climb to Višňovka. Up to this point, the route is on good quality asphalt. At Višňovka, riders turn sharply right and face the final 600 m climb on poor quality road to the finish at Kohutka.

Facilities - we inform riders and their support crews that it will not be possible to park vehicles along the road in the start area as last year. Parking is possible at a large public car park in front of the Hyundai office building about 2.5 km from the start (see map). Toilets are available at the car park. At the finish, everyone is awaited by the proven facilities of the Kohutka restaurant with full sanitary amenities and two car parks.
