Stolpe-Cedynia

actually about 45 KM, here I couldn’t set some points. from Stolpe we were always able to go directly along the Oder to the north (without detour through the towns). The Pattenweg is not super comfortable, but it is good to ride with a touring bike. In Krainik Dolny, one can turn right to ride along the Oder on an unpaved but good path to Zaton Dolny, where there is a farm with a garden café. From there, a decent uphill on the country road to Piasek. Later, from the pump station to Bielinek, there is a gravel path directly along the Oder dike to the south (less bumpy than the one on the west side). Here you must find the correct turnoff (not too early, or you’ll end up in Lubiechow Dolny) to reach a drivable field path to Cedynia, which can be seen from the dike. The country road stretch on the Polish side is also nice and fairly quiet, but we already knew it and preferred to see water instead of roads and forests. Ridden in April 2012.
