Maulbronn – Nussbaum 18.5 km

• The tour starts at the entrance to the monastery courtyard. Follow the 'Friedhofweg', then along 'Gartenstraße' above the parking lot.

• At the bike path junction turn right into 'Kepplerstraße', then continue on the 'Dobelweg', turn left onto 'Seehausweg', next right continuing on 'Hermann Hesse Straße', then follow the bike/pedestrian path downhill to the main road.

• Follow the farm track to the right along the district road to Elfinger Farm. Cross the K4521 there and continue on the bike path along the district road. After about 300 m continue straight on the farm track. Follow this straight, soon parallel to the B35towards Knittlingen.

• At the town entrance turn right and follow the main road into the town. In the town centre at the town hall turn left into 'Marktstraße' and through the town centre. At the end of 'Torstraße' turn left onto 'Pflegmühleweg'.

• Continue straight over 'Wiesenstraße', then turn left to and through the underpass. After this turn right and follow the B35 towards Bretten.

• At the town entrance go downhill to the left on the bike/pedestrian path alongside the swimming pool.

• After the parking lot turn right onto 'Breitenbachweg', after the right bend, just before the bridge turn left, then over the footbridge and straight ahead into 'Friedrichstraße'. At the end turn leftinto 'Pforzheimer Straße' and right at the traffic lights.

• At the bike path junction at the next traffic light turn left into 'Hermann-Beutemüller-Straße', through the underpass. Straight through the next underpass, then left into 'Carl-Benz-Straße'.

• At the end of 'St. Johannes-Weg' veer half left downhill on the bike/pedestrian path. At the following fork veer half right and about 400 m further at the next bike path junction turn right, parallel to the district road to Spantal.

• At the church go straight on and just before the town exit veer half right uphill out of the town. Over the ridge and straight downhill into Nußbaum.

Nussbaum – Maulbronn 14.5 km

• At the T-junction turn left, after the church turn right, straight over the main road, then left into 'Grünstraße', next right into 'Ruiter Straße' and at the edge of the town right onto the paved farm track to Bauschlott.

• Turn left onto L611, next right, over the school parking lot, straight into the 30 zone to the main road ('Am Anger'). Follow this right through the town.

• Turn right into 'Pforzheimer Straße', next left into 'Auweg' and follow straight to the crossroads at the farmhouse. There turn left to L611, right along this for about 500 m, then veer half right onto the farm track and left onto K4525 into Ölbronn.

• Turn right into 'Maulbronner Straße' and after 300 m left and immediately right again, parallel to the main road out of Ölbronn. At the first junction after the town turn right, cross the L611 and pass the farm.

• After the farm turn left downhill and at the 3-way junction turn right, now parallel to the slope into the Erlen industrial estate. At the main road turn left towards the roundabout, right over the bridge and immediately right to Maulbronn West station.

• Cross the shunting tracks and at the 4-way junction left, now on gravel, parallel to the tracks through the forest.

• At the road, left downhill, straight over the main road and past the car park exit.

• At the bike path junction return along the familiar path to the starting point of the tour.
