Wein und Obst-Tour

Walheim – Erligheim 10.0 km

• The tour starts in Walheim. Follow the Neckar Valley Trail along the 'Hauptstraße' through the village towards Kirchheim.

• Continue along 'Heilbronner Straße', at the village exit, just before the B27 ramp, turn right onto a farm road, pass under the railway tracks and follow along the Neckar river.

• At the entrance of Kirchheim, turn left through the underpass, then half right uphill to the village center.

• Turn left into 'Rathausstraße', cross the square and pedestrian traffic lighton the left, turn left, then the next right into 'Talstraße' and continue straight out of the village.

• At the fork in Hohenstein, bear half right, cross the bridge, then left into 'Kirchwiesenstraße'. Before the bridge, turn right into 'Mühlstraße', then left, follow 'Mittlere Straße' through and out of the village.

• Over the hill and along the vineyard to the district road. On the bike path, turn left into the village of Hofen. Turn right into 'Gutenbergstraße' and at its end, turn right onto the bike path along K1630 towards Erligheim.

Erligheim – Walheim 15.5 km

• At the village entrance, turn left into 'Schulstraße', downhill, straight past the cemetery. Turn left into 'Talstraße', at its end turn right and straight into 'Kuhäckerstraße'.

• In the right curve, turn left onto the farm road, at the T-junction turn left, cross the stream, and at the cycling trail junction by the farm turn right.

• At the next junction turn right, pass the farms and on the hillturn left onto the gravel path. Follow it uphill into the forest.

• At the T-junction near the hut in the forest turn left. At the barbecue hut above the vineyard, bear half right, follow the roughly gravelled path between vineyard and forest. At the main road (dangerous junction!) go straight and immediately after the cemetery turn left downhill on the bike/pedestrian path into the valley.

• Left, next right, in the residential area left, then right into 'Kirchstraße' and on it to the center of Freudental. Straight to the main road and left towards Löchgau.

• Before the left curve, a farm road begins on the right running parallel to K1633 towards Löchgau.

• At the end of the bike path, at the forest hiking parking lot, cross the district road and follow the farm road half left towards Löchgau.

• At the junction near the cemetery straight into the right-shifted street. Turn left into 'Nelkenweg' and after the right curve turn left onto the footpath.

• Straight over the parking lot, at the T-junction left, the next right, straight over the main road and left at the church into 'Obere Straße'.

• Right, against the one-way street, over the turning circle and straight on 'Kelterstraße'.

• At the end of the 30 zone bear half right following the farm road out of the village. At the four-way junction, after crossing the stream, right and follow the valley route to Walheim.

• At the village entrance straight on 'Weinstraße', then right into 'Lerchenweg', next left into 'Im Haiglen'.

• Just before the main road turn right into 'Karlstraße', at its end left to and through the underpass, over the pedestrian crossing and on 'Hauptstraße' back to the tour starting point.
