An introduction to the family history at the burial mound of Benkhausen Castle will clarify this question. Then it's off on the Minden passenger ship to Bad Essen. From the landing stage in Bad Essen, we can reach Ippenburg Castle by bike in a few minutes. Baroness Viktoria von dem Bussche has kindly agreed to introduce us to the castle as well as her passion, the garden, and to give a small insight into the family history. In the local café, there is the opportunity to refresh yourself for the bike ride back.
