Über's Naabgebirge - Hard 'n' heavy

The route goes from Deiselkühn to the Naab Mountains. It is the third and hardest of my (so far) three routes through the Naab Mountains. It is designed to be ridden clockwise, but it can also be done the other way round. Experienced cyclists ride it as an afternoon tour. Due to the long climbs, the route is not recommended as a family outing. However, the view you get at various spots along the route compensates for the climbing effort.

• Old town of Nabburg
• Church and ossuary in Perschen
• Oberpfälzer farmer's museum (with snack bar) in Perschen
• Brünnl Chapel by the old Naab south of Nabburg.

Anyone wishing to visit Perschen should not turn into Bahnhofstraße in Pfreimd, but continue on Nabburger Straße (yielding at the bend). Return to the original route in Nabburg.

The route primarily runs along quiet side roads. At many points, there are beautiful views that invite you to linger. Therefore, those who don't just want to rack up kilometers should allow a little more time just in case.
