Kazimierz Dolny - Kraśnik

The trail leads through the western part of the Lublin Uplands. It begins in Kazimierz Dolny – a picturesque town situated in the gorge of the Vistula River, with splendid Renaissance architecture. It then runs through the Nałęczów Plateau, which is protected in this area as part of the Kazimierski Landscape Park. Further on, it crosses the Bełżyce Plain, passing the western side of the Małopolski Vistula Gorge, running through the village of Męćmierz with its interesting wooden architecture. In Dobre, at the Dobrzańska Cliff, an impressive accent of the Bełżyce Plain, the trail enters the monotonous region of the Chodel Basin. The western part of this land, through which the route passes, is characterized by a significant proportion of orchards and hop gardens in its total area. Here, the trail winds along a fairly long stretch along the flood protection embankment of the Vistula. It then enters the area of the Urzędów Heights. It crosses the Wrzelowiec Landscape Park, leading, among other things, past the recreational reservoir in Kluczkowice. Next, it approaches the Vistula Valley again in the town of Józefów, which is perfectly visible from the viewpoint near Nietrzeba. The next segment runs through the Wyżnica Valley and then the Urzędówka Valley, where there are noteworthy places with pottery traditions – Bęczyn and Urzędów. The trail then returns to the Wyżnica Valley and reaches Kraśnik. The route is 108 km long. In technical terms, it has a medium level of difficulty. It mostly runs on asphalt roads. The starting (ending) points of the trail are also the starting (ending) points for other regional bike paths. In Kazimierz Dolny, the Lublin – Nałęczów – Kazimierz Dolny bike path ends, and Kraśnik is the starting point of the Central Roztocze Cycling Route (Kraśnik – Zwierzyniec).
