14 Ochutnávka Galmusu

A pleasant, easy cycle touring loop with one more demanding climb. The route leads through the scenically and naturally significant area of the Volovské Hills - Galmus. The loop starts and finishes in front of the local municipal office. Head east on the blue cycle route 2709. At the first junction continue straight together with the green cycle route 5855; after a hundred metres on this shared section, turn right at the crossroads and continue along the green cycle route 5855, descending steeply to the Relaxšport Poráč Park centre. Then, enjoy a gentle descent through the picturesque Poráč Valley bordered by the Červené skaly nature reserve, all the way to the Ploštiny signpost. Turn left and begin climbing towards the Galmus junction (3.5 km). Turn left again and stay on the blue route 2709 until the end of the loop. The rest of the circuit is pleasantly easy for cycle tourists due to its gentle profile.
