Béjar - Llano Alto - Pantano Navamuño - Candelario - Los Pinos - Béjar

Easy route through the Sierra de Béjar-Candelario. Possibility of water throughout the route. We start the route at the gas station and head towards El Castañar to reach the Llano Alto Youth Hostel. During this climb, we can enjoy some very good views of Béjar, a beautiful area of chestnut trees, the sanctuary of the Virgen del Castañar, and the oldest bullring in Spain. At the hostel, we take the path that will lead us to the reservoir, finishing with a quite steep ramp. Once there, we continue down the little-traveled road to Candelario. From here, we will descend to Los Pinos via La Canaleja, a very beautiful yet technical trail. In Los Pinos, we can see the Church of Monte Mario.
