Altmühltal Mountain Climb Tour - Hardcore

Start Böhmfeld - Inn

Downhill to Hofstetten then right - left towards Pfünz

Mid Pfünz right onto Waltingerstr.

Follow the small road and after 500m cross the federal road to Inching

Through Iching uphill turn right along the Altmühl

In Walting steep left up to Rapperszell

At the start of Rapperszell right down to Rieshofen

Continue through Isenbrunn to Plalzpaint

On the federal road about 1.5 km to Gungolding

In Gungolding right up towards Hofstetten - very steep and long :-)

In Hofstetten left up to Böhmfeld - path loops back - mountain ramp

In Böhmfeld left down into the Schambach valley - ride through completely to the federal road

There left again towards Gungolding

In Gungolding right up to Pfahldorf - long moderate climb

Cross the federal road with a left-right bend and up to Hirnstetten

Continue to Hegelohe - down to Altdorf

At the bottom right through Altdorf towards Erlingshofen

Directly in Erlingshofen at the right bend go straight and then left over a hairpin up the hill (steep ramp)At the top always towards Berlezhausen then down to Enkering

Through Enkering along the Altmühl

Then turn right towards Schafhausen

Through Altdorf again towards Wachenzell uphill (light but sustained climb)

At the top right towards Titting

Through Titting right towards Emsing

At Emsing left up the hill to Grafenberg (Grafenberg steep and long)

In Grafenberg at the top left towards Morsbach

Through Morsbach to Mantlach

Then down again towards Titting

Before Titting on the main road sharp right towards Unterkesselberg

At the exit of Unterkesselberg left onto a small country road towards Kaldorf - Kabellenweg - Dorfstraße

After Kaldorf right onto the federal road

After about 500m left towards Erkertshofen

Through Erkertshofen straight and at the Roman tower right into the woods to the federal road

On the federal road left towards Altdorf

Before Altdorf right up to Hirnstetten

From Hirnstetten continue towards Pfahldorf

At the intersection left through Pfahldorf then right down towards Kipfenberg

In Kipfenberg twice right towards Böhming

Through Böhming towards Attenzell left up

In Attenzell right towards Schambachtal

In Schambachtal left up towards Böhmfeld

In Böhmfeld at the top right to the inn - start/finish
