Много интересен, но доста изморителен (поне за мен) маршрут.

Монтана - Чипровци е лек, с постоянно плавно изкачване. След излизане от Чипровци в посока Гушевски манастир, пътят става по-стръмен. Зад него следва къс, но много стръмен участък и се стига до хижа Явор. От нея започва черен път, като цяло в добро състояние. По него има и равни участъци, и изкачвания, и слизания. Tочно преди излизането на асфалта, над Копиловци е в ужасно състояние - камъни, храсти, елхички и дълбоки изровени вади.
