Let's start at Fra in FN along the B31 or on the adjacent bike paths through Immenstaad, Hagnau, Meersburg, Uhldingen, Nußdorf, Überlingen, Ludwigshafen, then towards Bodman and over the Bodanrück. Once at the top, we could rest at the Bisonstube (that's about 50 km). Then it's downhill along the Lake Constance bike path to Konstanz – here we'd be at about 70 km – where we could stop at a biergarten. Those who are really done can take the catamaran and cross directly back to FN. For the others, it makes sense to ride along the Swiss side of Lake Constance to Romanshorn. This stretch is completely flat and just under 20 km long. That way, after almost 90 km, we'd be in Romanshorn and can then take the ferry. I think we'll sleep well after that :)

Crossing with the catamaran and with the ferry costs about the same – so that excuse doesn't hold for those crossing from Konstanz :)
