Von Unterweißbach bis Bad Blankenburg im unterem Schwarzatal

Between Unterweißbach and Bad Blankenburg, one can ride almost without using roads (only in urban areas on secondary roads) along the wildly romantic river course and only has to overcome short climbs, as the path always follows the river. Even with a 'daily use bike,' this is manageable. Children with practice should be able to handle it in one stretch.

Sights: Sitzendorf Porcelain Factory, Schwarzburg Castle, locality of Bad Blankenburg, etc. - here just as a suggestion. There are places to stop along the way.

I have saved the tour as a round trip - small deviations in both directions are visible at the zoom. The elevation starts at about 320 m above sea level and ends at about 220 m above sea level.

So the profile is less severe than the numbers suggest!

At the endpoints, there are train connections. Anyone wanting a different way back to the same starting point will inevitably encounter mountain routes/roads.
