A6 Parma- Montechiarugolo -Montecchio - Reggio Emilia e dintorni

From Parma, we take the cycle path along Via Emilia towards Reggio, then turn right onto Via XXIV Maggio in the traffic after the San Lazzaro arch, then Budellungo road still with traffic until passing the ring road. We pass the Monticelli thermal center then take the cycle path to Basilicagoiano up to Montechiarugolo with its beautiful inhabited castle on the bank of the Enza river where we descend via a riverside road to the hydraulic structure where we can cross to the right bank, that is, into the province of Reggio Emilia. We cross the town of Montecchio with its castle. We continue east along secondary roads to Cavriago then on the cycle path to the city gates, diverting south to the Ducal Palace of Rivalta, then north to cross the Calatrava bridges.
