A 44-es főút csak vakmerőknek, és nekik is inkább csak hétvégén. Szarvas - Békésszentandrás, valamint Kunszenmárton - Cserkeszőlő között váltakozó minőségű kerékpárút. Kunszentmártonnál javasolt a régi 44-es nyomvonalán haladni. Cserkeszőlő és Tiszaug között a 44-es útpadkája nagyon rossz, nyomvájús és veszélyes. A Csépa felé vezető út ellenben európai minőségű és nagyon csekély forgalmú. Csodálatos, dimbes-dombos tájon, rendezett falukon keresztül vezet. Tiszaug a legújabb kedvenc településem, mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom: holtág, parkok, remek kocsmák, Tisza, jófej emberek.
