Herzschlaufe Burgdorf (Etappe 1 Burgdorf – Oberburg)

Starting in Burgdorf near the castle, then head into the Emmental hills. This stage of the Herzschlaufe is short but challenging: about 37 km with just over 1000 meters of elevation gain. Mostly on quiet secondary roads and paths, sometimes on gravel, with many scenic stops overlooking farms and forests. After some tough climbs, you roll down to Oberburg, right next to Burgdorf. Ideal if you’re looking for a sporty half-day tour with a rural vibe. E-bikes welcome.
