Stage 7: Dundee to St Andrews

Coastal spin from Dundee's waterfront over the Tay Road Bridge to Fife, then along quiet lanes and cycleways through Tayport and the trails of Tentsmuir Forest. It stays mostly flat with a few gentle rises, a mix of smooth tarmac and packed gravel. Look for views over the Tay and the Eden Estuary before rolling into St Andrews, home of Scotland's oldest university, sandy beaches, and world-famous golf. Great for a half-day ride; bring wider tires for the forest sections and a wind layer.
