Skulpturenweg und Rottal CLONED FROM ROUTE 170707

A small, leisurely Sunday ride that can be done stress-free in a comfortable 2 hours of riding time.

Starting from Fachsenfeld, descending to Niederalfingen, then towards the natural swimming pool via the Sculpture Trail to Neuler (small climbs). In Neuler, at the main road, turn left, then right to the sports field. At the roundabout, continue straight on following the Sculpture Trail. At the fork near the last sculptures, keep left towards the forest. Do not go down the hill there, but keep right along the forest edge (a dirt path with cobblestones), always along the forest to the main road, then left onto the country road towards Burkhardsmühle (partly steep descent). At the village entrance, immediately left into the Rottal valley. Follow the Blinde Rot stream to the youth hostel, where fresh spring water is available. Continue through the Kruger sawmill to the L1073, then descend towards "Schäufele" to the B19, cross it and keep left towards "Abtsgmünd". Entering Abtsgmünd, turn right through the town over the Lein bridge, then at the zebra crossing turn right until the tire dealer, where you cross the street to the left. Here, immediately right two steps down, then keep right to the Laubach reservoir, always straight ahead, unfortunately uphill (possible stop). From the top of the first hill, the Dewangen ski lift is already visible on the upper right as the next destination. Through the outlying farm (Rotsold) continue towards Dewangen, past the new playground, through the new housing estate towards the town exit, at the "Kaufmann" car dealership follow the new foot and bike path, after "Spitzweg" turn left to Fachsenfeld. Straight on to the town center and starting point of the tour. Enjoy your ride!
