About this route
El Passo di Carlo Magno, a 1.681 metros de altitud, se alza como un paso estratégico y panorámico en el corazón del Trentino, uniendo el Val Rendena con el Val di Sole, y separando las cuencas del río Sarca y del río Noce. Rodeado por el Parco Naturale Adamello-Brenta, este paso de montaña no destaca por su dureza extrema, pero sí por su constancia, belleza paisajística y valor histórico. Desde su cima se abren amplias vistas hacia los Dolomitas de Brenta, especialmente en dirección sur, coronadas por bosques de coníferas, pastizales alpinos y la reconocida estación de esquí de Madonna di Campigglio.
