En el Tentzo, de Valsequillo a san Juan Atzompa

Mountain bike route from La Panga in Valsequillo to San Juan Atzompa.

After passing the Panga in Valsequillo, begin climbing on a paved road. Upon reaching the watershed, start descending, then there is a turnoff to take a dirt path towards Aguacate. From there, continue again on the paved road towards Huehuetlán el Grande. Further ahead, there's another turnoff and on a dirt path continue to San Agustín Ahuehutla. Arrive at the village and cross the Huehutlán river.<br />I recommend taking time to enjoy this beautiful river with crystal-clear waters and its gallery forests full of Ahuehuetes.<br />Continue on the dirt path towards San Nicolás Huajuapan, then keep ascending on a dirt path towards Yancutlalpan, and subsequently reach San Juan Atzompa, where you can enjoy a delicious Guasmole in the shade of a giant Ahuehuete.<br />During the rainy season, be cautious when crossing the different rivers and streams on the route, as they can be dangerous.<br />In San Agustín Ahuehutla, you can leave your bikes in a house and walk upstream to enjoy two beautiful waterfalls.
