Courzieu par la luère et malval

The route starts from the towns of Tassin and then Craponne. From Grézieu-la-Varenne onward, the roads become pleasant. With its gentle and regular slopes, the col de la Luère represents the first difficulty of the ride. Then you must descend on the other side to enter the valley of the Brévenne and then reach Courzieu. In Courzieu, the second difficulty begins with the first percentages of col Malval. The road is beautiful and very lightly trafficked. At the col, the descent towards Vaugneray is punctuated by beautiful curves. The return to the starting point begins first as a balcony on the eastern slopes of the Monts du Lyonnais. From Saint Concorce, the roads become more populated. The return route through Charbonnière still offers beautiful little climbs. So watch to save some energy from the col de la Luère and the col Malval! An alternative is to ride the route in reverse. The col de la Luère is steeper in this direction.
