About this route
A beautiful cycling and hiking trail follows the former railway line through forests, meadows and along streams, joining the Kyll valley cycle path near Philippsheim heading towards Trier, following the main Kyll river to the destination Auw a.d.Kyll. There it ends at the rest stop and guesthouse 'Altes Pfarrhaus'. From here, the cycle path continues along the Kyll to Trier and connects there with the Moselle cycle path. A train connection with bicycle transport is available.
