About this route
The Passo del Vivione (1828 m) leads from the Val Camonica straight into the Bergamasque Alps, a scenic area very popular among Italians as a holiday and hiking destination but probably rather unknown to us. Riding the Vivione is pure solitary pleasure cycling. Practically no traffic, a narrow road with excellent surface and a layout that would make any model railway enthusiast proud. From the northeast, there are 9 hairpins to tackle, from the southeast, 15 hairpins.
