Around Lake Geneva 2012

A fantastic stage. You cycle almost all day on very small roads in a beautiful piece of nature. At the beginning, the road goes up and down a bit, but after Montbovon, the road climbs for 36 km via the Lac de l’Hongrin to a height of 1560 m. Never really steep and sometimes with a bit of descent. At the top, you have fantastic views of Lake Geneva and the valley. After that, there's a very steep descent to Aigle.
