About this route
El Colle del Sommeiller (2.995 m) es uno de los puertos ciclables más altos de Europa y un verdadero mito para los amantes del ciclismo de aventura y del cicloturismo extremo. Se sitúa en el Valle de Susa, en el Piamonte, y asciende desde Bardonecchia hasta rozar los 3.000 metros de altitud, en un entorno de alta montaña absolutamente espectacular. Su fama no radica solo en su altitud, sino en el tipo de ascensión: un recorrido largo, exigente y con una parte final sobre pista no asfaltada, que convierte la experiencia en un desafío tanto físico como técnico.
