About This Route

Vanuit Montesilvano langs Pescara en Chieti naar Mannoppello waar de echte klim naar Passo Lanciano begint. Niet extreem moeilijk maar ik maakte de tocht in de zomer, tot bijna 40°c in volle zon! Enkel de laatste 4 km. door een bos brengen wat schaduw. In de zomermaanden raad ik aan om zeer vroeg op pad te gaan. Je kan nog verder klimmen tot Blockhaus maar ik koos ervoor om een lusvormige tocht te maken en terug te keren langs Francavilla al Mare.
