About this route
The Puerto de Sahún (2025 m) is one of the hidden gems of the Huesca Pyrenees. Despite its altitude, its continuity and the beauty of its surroundings, it does not figure among the big names in cycling, partly because most of the route is unpaved, although paving is already planned for 2026. Likewise, those who tackle it from Plan, in the Gistaín valley, discover one of the hardest, most consistent and loneliest climbs in the entire range.
