Hello everyone,

You're coming from work and the sun is shining? Then let's get on the bike!

I start in Bubbecke and ride through Ahetal towards Herscheid.

In Hardt, turn right to Versetalsperre/Lüdenscheid. Upon reaching 'Silberg', turn right towards Brüninghausen.

Don't miss the left turn (economic path with barrier!) towards Versedamm during the descent!

Crossing the dam, continue on to Lüdenscheid. At the end of 'Bobbahn', turn left down towards Meinerzhagen and enjoy the descent at Versetalsperre. But don’t go faster than 30 over the bridge, otherwise you'll get caught. Continue along the dam and up the long ascent to Reblin. Once at the top, there’s a long descent to 'Frankfurter Kreuz' in the middle of Herscheid. At green simply go straight and through the town center past the ice cream shop until reaching the community hall.

From there, it continues right towards Rärin. Attention: Turn left after the pedestrian traffic light and continue past the schools, always going uphill. A short ascent that has its challenges!

At the hiking parking lot, turn right and follow the high-voltage line. At the second hiking parking lot (Beehive), turn left again towards Rärin. But the first street goes right down to Elsen and Hüinghausen AIRPORT!

On the main road in Hüinghausen, turn right towards the museum railway and pass through Köbinghausen. In the industrial area at the first roundabout, take the first exit.

WARNING: At the self-service gas station, turn right onto the walking/cycling path. At the end of it, turn right into Prinzstraße and at its end, turn right up!

You will arrive at Bruchweg/Dingringhauser Weg. Long and straight and !Right before left!!! At the end turn right again and pass the 'CDU' building into the valley and left past the gas station.

At the end (traffic light) turn right and immediately left again. Then just follow the 'cycling signs' and pass the Sparkasse, continuing along the old main road to Böddinghausen. Over the 'buses only' road, immediately turn right onto the walking/cycling path just before the bridge and now always along the Lenne towards Ohle. After the old railway bridge, just keep left and go up the hill on the left valley side, passing the kindergarten along the cycling path. At Gringel, cross the bridge and then immediately turn left along Lenne until Hilfringhausen. There, turn left at the 'colorful garden' and go up to Selscheid. Those who know the P-path will of course take this beautiful route through the forest and stream to Selscheid. All others should follow the road past Breitenfeld. But it's much steeper!!! Upon arriving at Selscheid, definitely turn right towards Werdohl. In Grimminghausen there's one more ascent to Wiehardt. But it’s the last climb! ;-) It goes through the forest to Wellin.

After Wellin (towards Herscheid), turn right through the forest to Rärin (fire station) and then continue past the soccer field (through the forest path) to Alfrin and Heusprenkel... There's still a bit of downhill into the valley and you're back in Bubbecke....

Duration about 3:15 with some endurance ;-)

About 75% road surface

Forest paths are all paved but after a rainy day they can be nice and 'splashy'.
