Der Parkplatz an der Neue Mühle, zwischen Gütersloh und Herzebrock gelegen, ist Start und Ziel der Route. Die Rundroute „Fuhrmannsweg“ ist eine erholsame Tour führt sie durch eine sehr schöne und abwechslungsreiche Landschaft. Die Strecke besteht aus überwiegend naturnahe Wald- und Feldwege sowie gut ausgebaute Rad- und Wirtschaftswege. Ausgehend von dem Restaurant „Neue Mühle“ fahren Sie in Richtung Blankenhagen. Von der „Lutter“ begleitet erreicht man bald Isselhorst. In der historischen Gaststätte Restaurant „Zur Linde“ können Sie sich vom Küchenmeister verwöhnen lassen. Anschließend radeln Sie weiter durch die münsterländische Parklandschaft an Avenwedde und Friedrichsdorf vorbei nach Gütersloh. Die „Dahlke“ begleitet Sie durch Gütersloh und erreichen bald Ihren Ausgangspunkt die „Neue Mühle“.
