after sleeping very well outdoors on the fichtelberg, and promptly preparing my camera for sunrise and having a hearty breakfast, on July 25, 2012, around 7:30 am, I was back on the road. the day's goal was the source of the freiberger mulde, which is located in moldava in the czech republic. from the first day, I had learned not to rely on predefined paths but to navigate according to the map and try to go as straight as possible to accrue kilometers. I managed this quite well, so I didn't end up in any gorges like on the first day, from which I then had to struggle to climb back out. thus it came to pass that, except for a few kilometers, I was mostly in "bohemia". the weather was superb, there were wonderful views, and I also found a bathing opportunity, just as the day before. in the evening, around 6:30 pm, I was near my destination, I found the information board, but did not want to search for the source anymore. however, I found a small stream, quickly lit a fire, roasted some mushrooms, and ate them; then I took a look at the stars and I was off.
