Ischgl - Schönverwall

Attention marathon bikers: Here comes the fabulous 86-kilometer training and adventure loop for you. The Schönverwall valley between St. Anton and Heilbronner Hütte, generally traversed in a southern direction by Transalp bikers, provides significantly more riding fun to the north. Because after the long gravel ascent to the Heilbronner Hütte, the coarse gravel Verwall Trail follows, which can be ridden down here but must be pushed in a reverse Transalp direction. From the Schönverwall Hütte, one glides on a long gravel road to St. Anton, where you can take the shuttle (bus or taxi) to Ischgl or roll on the bike path beside the road towards Landeck. However, those who want to cover the entire distance on the bike still have about 600 not particularly easy meters of elevation to pedal up from See in the lower Paznauntal - a real marathon indeed.
