Bánkúti túra

In short: Up to 29 km there is nothing special, we encounter a small steep rise. At 29 km begins the serpentine above Mályinka which lasts until 39 km. There are easier sections too, but it is mainly a climb, especially at the end. All the way along a cracked forest asphalt road, the tree crowns touch each other, the sun only shines through here and there, so it is a bit cool. At 39 km there is a fork left to Lillafüred, right to Bánkút 3 km. Well, those 3 km are already a bit of a struggle, alternating between good and very bad road quality. Up at Bánkút there is a buffet where you can recharge, incredibly many people, not skiing, but hiking. At the buffet, you can take a tourist map for free with 10 routes, so it’s worth going out in the summer too. The asphalt road starts heading towards Szilvás, the scenery is beautiful, with many routes, but everything is signposted, so it is impossible to get lost. Several from the oncoming traffic said that from here you can roll, but somehow I didn't want to roll until 51 km. At 51 km, it finally got going, I tore down at 45-50 km/h. The road is relatively good, the asphalt is barely cracked. At 57 km is the Millennium lookout, from here the road gets worse, there are plenty of potholes. At 61 km, I almost fell, saw a pothole, strong brakes, but the back slipped, then the brake released and I slowed down slowly into the cracked asphalt part. I managed to get through it, I don't know how, but I got out successfully. At 63 km is Szilvás market street. Then I head home on the familiar route. At 75 km I still had to struggle up to Farkaslyuki, I had little strength and desire left, but there's not much choice, either you pedal or you stay at the side of the road. From 76 km onwards, nothing special happens, we slowly roll into the city, and from there the wind is already blowing home. That's all. It’s worth trying it out because it’s a very beautiful route.
