Zittau Friedersdorf bei GR, nach Hainewalde und Zittau

I start from Rietschelstraße, along the Mandau heading towards Weinau. Officially, you can only access it via Brückenstraße and Weinauallee. Bikemap.net is not up to date. I ride from Schliebenstraße over the bridge and immediately turn right along the Mandau until 200 m after the viaduct, turn left and from there around the Weinau area to the B99. On the bike path to Hirschfelde and then to Dittelsdorf, before the church turn right towards Schlegel, but follow the main road until the intersection on the ridge. This is the K8617. This leads to Kiesdorf, where the sign points to Schönau Berzdorf. Nice descent and shortly after entering the village, I turn right towards Friedersdorf. A really good new road with a very good bike path. There is also a continuous incline to Friedersdorf of roughly 3% average. Before Friedersdorf, turn left onto the New Road and then onto Oststraße to return on a concrete path to Schönau-Berzdorf. Then the road led me to Kiesdorf Dittersbach, Neundorf, Grohedo, Oderwitz, Hainewalde to Viebig. Then back on the dam in Hainewalde and the small side road to Vogelherd, over the street bridge to Talstraße, until Mittelherwigsdorf. The Mühlgraben rides really well and I always take it. After about 1000 m over the Mandau and immediately turn left towards Hörnitz. In Hörnitz to the Bertsdorfer side and left on the main road to Zittau Pethau at the roundabout turn right and immediately left along the Mandau. At the end the cyclist exits onto Goldbachstraße and heads back to his starting point. Have fun!
