A one- or two-day (in this case, two-day with overnight stay in Zache艂m) cycling trip through the Jelenia G贸ra Valley. The trip spread over two days will have a recreational character, but the route is quite doable in one day.
Route:
- From the train station in Marcisz贸w, we head onto the adjacent red bike trail (ER6), which takes us all the way to the Bobr贸w Palace;
- from there, we ride the black trail to Karpniki (Karpnik?);
- there we descend onto the orange trail, which we follow until we find the red bike trail in the woods behind the village of Krogulec;
- the red trail leads us to Mys艂akowice, where we switch to black;
- however, we only ride the black trail for a short distance, until we encounter the RED PEDESTRIAN trail;
- following this trail, we reach Sosn贸wka through G艂臋bock, where we find the green bike trail that will take us to Podg贸rzyn along the reservoir;
- in Podg贸rzyn, we immediately turn left onto the black trail leading to Zache艂mie (this is also the longest ascent on the entire route);
- the black trail then runs through Zache艂mie (this time downhill) to meet the green one at the main road;
- there, we also turn left and, following the green trail, arrive at Pakosz贸w, where the green trail bends to the left;
- here we abandon the green trail and go straight, until (after crossing the main road to Szklarska Por臋ba) we encounter the blue trail in the locality/district of Piast贸w, which we follow, choosing the right path at the fork;
- the blue trail leads us to Stara Kamienica, where we switch to green;
- following the green trail, we reach the Wrzeszczyn power plant, where we turn right following the red signs of the ER6 route (note: if it has rained in the last days, it is better to go straight on the asphalt green trail, and in the village of Cicha turn right to ultimately find the red trail);
- the red trail, along Lake Wrzeszczy艅ski and later Modrego, passing by the 'Per艂a Zachodu' shelter, will lead us to the center of Jelenia G贸ra (the PKP train station or other attractions need to be found on your own);
