Viale San Bartolomeo to Portovenere return

A fairly flat run around La Spezia and then a little climbing through Fezzano to Portovenere and back. Nice views of the coast and Golfo and Portovenere is always a great place to visit. Good for an after work cycle if you're tired of breathing clean airconditioned air and need a good dose of Co2, diesel fumes and burnt 2-stroke oil. Extra excitement from traffic passing close-by on blind corners and dodging vehicles of all types with plenty of traffic lights, roundabouts, etc. to spice up the trip. Great tarmac surfaces, by Italian standards.
