I admit it! I don't like setting off by bike from Trieste to climb the Karst, either breathing in exhaust fumes under effort or always using only the old railway...

So here is a splendid climb with little or no traffic.

The climb is for three-season tires because it's really hot in summer as it faces south.

Whereas the climb starting from the village of Vrhpolje I didn't find exciting: it goes straight and steady on asphalt, monotonous, tiring and without anything to see.
