Day 2 - Tall Order

This route sees us departing our refuge in Charcoal Hearth and immediately heading towards the clouds via Tortured Saint's Pass.

This pass gets its name to reference a small chapel we will pass that is dedicated to Saint Regina, who is the saint of torture victims after being beheaded for refusing to renounce her faith. So, perspective, guys.

Once conquering the mountain we will glide down the other side to a small shop for breakfast sandwiches, meats, and cheeses to power us the rest of the morning to Carlisle.

In Carlisle, the world is our oyster, but I highly recommend stopping at Desperate Times Brewery for a libated break.

Flat and easy is the name of the game home, and a celebration for another round of Type 2 completed.
