It is a circular route that starts and ends in Medina de Pomar. Therefore, you need to travel there by car.

Route of the MAME (Maratón Alpina Medinesa). This route goes through a varied range of paths and trails that are difficult to follow if you don't know them. But during the competition, it is marked by painting stones green. You can use these markings to do the route, not in competition mode, but as cycle touring with panniers (or however you prefer). You can do it at a relaxed pace, taking the whole day and enjoying the landscapes, trails, spots, etc. A real delight. It is recommended to eat at the highest area, around Kilometer 25 (more or less).
