Rifugio Monte Aiona - Cabanne

This route is incomplete as it was supposed to reach Genoa, but for technical reasons, it was not possible to complete it. From Rifugio Monte Aiona, one easily climbs to Passo della Spingarda on a wide dirt road and leaves the AV that goes up to Monte Aiona, then descends towards the forest road of Monte Penna, where at the intersection one climbs left reaching Passo di Cereghetto where the path begins. After surpassing a landslide, the path continues in the woods and reaches the Agoraie area (which would deserve an exclusive visit given the nature and the various cycling solutions it offers), until reaching a wide trail with a solid bottom that, after passing some farmhouses, turns decidedly left leaving the direction to Lago delle Lame to the right. Once the AV is found again, one quickly reaches Rifugio Devoto and Cappelletta delle Lame, having now left the trail, one ventures into a gentle descent along the AV, initially the progress is difficult due to the bumpiness of the path, but further ahead, at the entrance of the woods, the descent becomes fast and fun, after surpassing Passo delle Rocche one climbs slightly, then dives back down to Passo di Bolzale (chapel), (where the technical incident occurred), from here the route descends towards Cabanne, but the evident neglect of the path does not facilitate cycling at least in the first part; then lower down the road is wider and easier to navigate until reaching and crossing the creek just before the village of Cabanne. Once at the road of Val d'Aveto, one follows it towards the sea (left) until the fork for Priosa and Passo della Scoglina. Alternatively, from Passo di Bolzale, one can continue on the AV that reaches Passo della Forcella and descend this time to the right returning to the same fork.
