Larvik-Flam in 5 Tagen

The summer holiday trip in 2012 started with arriving by ferry in Larvik, then from there through the Numedal valley via Kongsberg to Geilo, and further along the Rallarvegen to Flam. The entire route was recorded as a GPS track. Only in the last section before Flam did the valley become so narrow that a satisfactory signal reception was not possible, and measurement points are missing for a few hundred meters. The track analysis using GPS-Track-Analyse.NET (unfortunately the program is no longer developed) shows, after smoothing, a total climbed elevation difference of 11,700 m and an overall length of about 395 km. The route was covered in five daily stages with a total riding time of 37:45 hours.
